Abstract: 】 To enhance the precision of ideological and political education for students in medical vocational colleges andto improve its practical effectiveness, a questionnaire survey was conducted among students at a medical vocational college, covering eight aspects including outlook on life, moral values, employment perspectives, and evaluations of ideological andpolitical theory courses. The results reveal three main characteristics of students' ideological status: a predominantly positivemainstream, a coexistence of pragmatism and self-centered tendencies, and susceptibility to confusion or externalinfluences. These findings indicate that while the college's ideological and political education has achieved certainsuccesses, challenges and shortcomings still exist. Improvements can be explored through targeted strategies, innovativeeducational models, and collaborative education mechanisms. This approach aims to continuously improve the quality offostering virtue through education, cultivating high-quality medical and health professionals who are both morally andtechnically competent for the Healthy China Initiative.
